Julia A. Arntz graduated in 2001with a undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences. During her time at OSU she was named OSU's eleventh Truman Scholar and also helped to transform the campus wide community servece project 'Into the Streets' into what it is today. Alumni working in private coorperations...

Cale L. Acacia Croy graduated in December 2000 and is currently working as an Environmental Soil Scientist for Apex Companies, LLC in Oklahoma City (http://www.apexcos.com/).  She can be contacted at

Teal Glass graduated in 1999.   For two years she worked in the Natural Resources Program in Bolivia, SA for the Peace Corps.  After returning, Teal got a job working in San Francisco as a certified site surveillance technician (CSST) for an environmental consulting firm.  As a CSST, the primary work is monitoring the remediation of lead and asbestos.  Currently Teal is a project scientist for Stellar Environmental Solutions (www.stellar-environmental.com).  Stellar Environmental Solutions deals with organizing the remediation for soil and groundwater contamination across a wide-range of situations.  Teal is also a REA (Registered Environmental Assessor), investigating properties for environmental contamination.  She can be contacted at tglass@stellar-environmental.com.

Alumni Working in government agencies...

Ashley Stringer graduated in December 2005.  She is currently pursuing a M.S. in Environmental Science at Oklahoma State University while working for the City of Edmond (www.edmondok.com) as a Water Quality Specialist.  She assists the City of Edmond with compliance of the Clean Water Act.  Ashley can be reached at ashley.stringer@edmondok.com.

Wade Miller graduated in December 2005 and is currently pursuing an MBA at Texas A&M University – Commerce while working as a Logistics Management Specialist for Army Defense Ammunition Center in McAlester, OK (midas.dac.army.mil).  He began working with the Defense Ammunition Center as an intern and converted to a permanent position immediately after graduation.  His office supports ammunition demilitarization resource reuse, recovery and recycling; DEMIL technology R&D applications; and environmental permitting and impact assessments.   Wade can be contacted at rmiller4@leo.tamu-commerce.edu.

Lyndee Laubach graduated in 2004 from OSU.  She currently works for the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality  (www.deq.state.ok.us) in  the Air Quality Division.  Her many job duties include the Training/Outreach Coordinator for Air Quality. Matt Pace graduated in December 1999 and received an MPA in May of 2006 from the University of Oklahoma.  He is an Environmental Programs Manager for the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (www.deq.state.ok.us) and can be contacted at (matt.pace@deq.state.ok.us).  The Oklahoma DEQ has  job opportunities are posted on their website.

Kendra Wise graduated in December 2000.   She attended graduate school within the OSU Plant and Soil Science department.  She currently works as a Environmental Health Specialist for the Tulsa Health Department, www.tulsa-health.org and can be contacted at kwise@tulsa-health.org.
