MORE ABOUT SAXON
How many people were in your HS graduating class
Around 675.
Why did you choose OSU?
Well, I wanted to stay fairly close to home and loved the atmosphere at Oklahoma State.
What is your favorite memory of your college experience?
Probably my freshman year Bedlam football game (OSU won 38-28) or my internship experience in California.
What is the one piece of advice that you would give a freshman?
Get to know your professors! It will help you not only in your courses, but also when you need a job reference.
What was your favorite class at OSU?
Sports and the Media with Professor Sowell.
How did you know that you had found the right major?
After I got to know some of my journalism professors my freshman year I knew it was the place for me.
What is the one thing that every new student should bring to campus?
An OSU mortar board (weekly calendar) so they can keep up with events on campus.
-
What is the one place that people should be sure to visit on the OSU campus?
Gallagher-Iba arena is amazing! It has so much history and tradition.
What percentage of your wardrobe is orange?
That is a good question, probably about 15% at least.
-
How were you involved on campus?
I was involved with OSU homecoming helping with alumni relations. I was also a sports writer for The Daily O'Collegian.
What do you think is the secret to a good freshman GPA?
It is really simple: Go to class!
Who was the one person at OSU that influenced you the most?
I have a few, but one of my favorite professors was Gina Noble. She taught us so much and gave us great hands-on experience! I also really enjoyed my religion professor, Michael Thompson.
