The trip itself was fantastic.  The long bus rides were difficult, and the schedule is somewhat grueling, but I would rather have it that way than not see everything we can.  There needs to be more warning of what the class actually entails in Honduras as I believe some students had trouble while they were there.  I'm not just speaking of the physical demands, I think that the cultural problems affected some as well.  Everything worked out okay, but I had a feeling that it would have been easy for one person's misjudgment or ignorance affect everyone in the group's experience. 

    The class overall, in its current format, provided me with plenty of opportunities to open my mind to a new culture.  I am glad I took the class and came through on all of the responsibilities involved in it.  And although the portfolio, web page, and open house are a lot of work, I am thrilled to be able to share what I learned.
